We use a Universal Laser System with a maximum engraving area of 12×24 inches. As opposed to rotary engraving, in which the material is physically engraved into, a laser engraver makes use of mirrors and CO2 lasers to remove the top surface of the material down to a specified depth. A wide variety of materials can be engraved, however be sure to contact us if you have a specific material in mind. As a general rule, we do not engrave supplied plastic items due to the risk of chlorine gas exposure.
